"16 patients tested for the new coronavirus, received negative responses. They are in quarantine," said Marina Ezugbaia, the medical director of the Infectious Diseases Hospital.
According to her, there are 24 patients at the hospital, 11 of them will be tested today.
"As for the three infected patients, their health condition is stable. Doctors examine them daily and evaluate their clinical data. The disease is not progressing," Ezugbaia stated.
There are three cases of coronavirus confirmed in Georgia.
The first one is a Georgian citizen, a 50-year-old man who arrived from Iran.
The second is a 31-year-old woman who is also a Georgian citizen and flew to Kutaisi International Airport from Italy.
The third infected man is also a Georgian citizen who was in Iran as well.
