23rd patient died of coronavirus in Georgia. The head of the National Center for Disease Control, Amiran Gamkrelidze, said at a government administration briefing.
According to Gamkrelidze, the patient was from an area not controlled by the Georgian government and was undergoing treatment in Tbilisi.
According to him, the patient's condition was critical.
Three patients died as a result of complications caused by coronavirus during the last 24 hours in Georgia. The 22nd patient was treated at the Batumi Republican Hospital. He had a severe stroke that led to his death. The incident happened at about 20:00 yesterday.
As for the 21st patient, an elderly woman died in Kutaisi.
The number of people infected with coronavirus in Georgia is 3 695, while the number of those recovered reaches 1 534.
