"We assure the population that this film will not be screened," Sandro Bregadze, the Leader of the Georgian March, said in a statement. The Georgian March mobilized all of its activists to prevent "And Then We Danced" from premiering today. According to Bregadze, the protest will start at 16:00 at the Tbilisi Concert Hall.

"Our protest will be peaceful, we will have a shame corridor, we will not allow gay propaganda, our compatriots are coming from different parts of Georgia. We have heard that by the end of the movie a boy is going to ask another one to marry him, this is unacceptable and we will not tolerate it", Bregadze said.
