A 23-year-old boy wounded a 24-year-old boy with a cold weapon and hid in Kakheti.
Law enforcers have already arrested the accused. Report.ge was informed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"Law enforcers arrested Z.G., born in 1998, on charges of intentional grievous bodily harm.
The investigation established that the accused, who was under the influence of alcohol during a dispute in the village of Velistsikhe, Gurjaani Municipality, wounded a fellow villager - R.N., born in 1997 using a cold weapon and fled the scene.
The wounded man received appropriate medical care; his life is not in danger.
The police seized the weapon of the crime - the knife as evidence," the statement said.
The fact of severe intentional damage to health is being investigated under the first part of Article 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of 3 to 6 years in prison.
