A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a murder in Tianeti. The Ministry of Internal Affairs releases official information about the incident.
"Law enforcers have arrested B.Kh., born in 1995, in Tianeti on charges of premeditated murder.
The investigation established that the accused, on the ground of a dispute, stabbed K.Ch., born in 1959, with a cold weapon, who died on the spot.
The law enforcers seized the weapon of the crime - a knife as evidence," the statement said.
According to the agency, the investigation is underway under Article 108 of the Criminal Code, which stipulates premeditated murder.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of 7 to 15 years in prison.
