Some locals in the Akhalkalaki municipality have reportedly been involved in a physical fight in the vicinity of a market. Witnesses say that a law enforcer attempted to break up a fight by firing a gun into the air.
Reports say that the altercation between the two men started when one of them refused to let the other driver pass his vehicle safely.
The troublemakers are facing hooliganism charges and may be sentenced from four to seven years in prison. No one has yet been detained.
