Criminal "authority" Irakli Malania, who was attacked by gunmen in the yard of a Kyiv court on November 16, died at a clinic last night.

Malania was in a comatose state for ten days. The attackers fired ten bullets at him. Malania was shot dead in front of a court in Kyiv when he, along with other defendants, appeared at the trial. Malania has been accused by Ukrainian law enforcement of extortion, kidnapping, and even murder.

Ukrainian police have detained Georgian citizen Giorgi Arutinov on the fact, and two people - Nodar Nishnianidze and Lasha Sikharulidze - have been declared wanted.
