At the Sarpi customs checkpoint, the customs officers of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance prevented the fact of attempted illegal import of narcotic drugs into the territory of Georgia.
In particular, a minibus driven by a citizen of Georgia G.C. entered the control zone of Sarpi customs checkpoint; another citizen of Georgia K.Ch was in the vehicle. A search of the luggage of these citizens revealed 112 capsules and 148 pills, as well as drugs packed in special packaging.
The case materials were handed over to the relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia for further response.
