The accused in the attack on the film crew of "TV Pirveli" has been arrested, the Ministry of Internal Affairs spreads information.
"G.A., born in 1967, on June 30 of 2021, in the village of Tsintskaro, Tsalka Municipality, confronted the journalist and cameraman of TV Pirveli, insulted them, and illegally interfered with their professional activities," said in the information spread by the Ministry.
The offense carries a maximum sentence of up to 2 years in prison.
An investigation is underway under Article 126 and 154 of the Criminal Code of Georgia on the fact of violence and unlawful interference with the professional activities of a journalist.
