Several people arrested during the ongoing opposition rally near State Security Service

There is noise in front of the State Security Service, where a protest rally organized by the "United National Movement" and their supporters is taking place.

The noise was followed by the appearance of Badri Shubladze, a member of the United National Movement, who verbally confronted the police. The noise on the ground escalated into a fight.

Law enforcers detained about ten people near the building, including Murman Dumbadze, Goga Oniani, Zviad Kuprava, and Davit Makharadze, and several other activists. Activists were arrested for administrative offenses.

According to the head of the Patrol Police Department, Vazha Siradze, they were trying to block the building of the State Security Service.

Police also tried to remove Zaal Udumashvili, one of the leaders of the United National Movement, from the scene, but activists on the spot did not allow them to do so.

The protesters are demanding that Mikheil Saakashvili be taken to a civilian clinic, as well as a meeting with the head of the State Security Service, Grigol Liluashvili, as citizens are being illegally watched on the instructions of the head of this agency.
