The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has spread information on criminal authority Tariel Oniani's extradition to Spain.
The process of his extradition has so far been halted by Oniani's Russian citizenship finally proved to be illegally obtained and stripped.
Georgian mafia boss Tariel Oniani was first detained in Russia in 2009 and was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment after being charged with abduction of a Russian businessman. In April 2019, he was freed but detained again later as an individual without citizenship. In Spain, he is faced with money laundering charges.
