''We are in intense collaboration with Wizz Air. Shortly it will provide us with a list of the countries to resume flights in an initial phase,'' Georgian Economic Minister Natia Turnava said.
She says the government will focus on the category of tourists that spend much money and seldom use low-cost companies.
The minister also says that for Georgia, it has always been essential to attract low-cost companies. Thus, the government will do its best to resume cheap flights.
''Turkish Airlines'' has published a list of the countries it plans to resume flights, and Georgia is in the top twenty,'' Turnava said, adding that negotiations are underway with the Persian Gulf air companies.
Georgian Airzena will be one of the first that will resume regular flights.
Georgian Minister of Economy Natia Turnava and Head of the National Tourism Administration Mariam Kvrivishvili provided detailed information on Georgia's competitive advantage across the world.
Georgia lifts tourism restrictions on June 15 for domestic tourists, while the country is ready to host international travelers from July 1.
