As the Metro Newspaper UK reports, Whitney Houston’s best friend Robyn Crawford has broken her silence about their long-rumoured romance for the first time, and confirms they were indeed secretly lovers.
It was widely speculated in the 1980s that Whitney, who died in 2012, and Robyn were romantically involved behind closed doors.
While Whitney never confirmed the rumours and went on to marry Bobby Brown, Robyn maintained a wall of silence throughout the years.
However, she’s now releasing a memoir detailing their romantic relationship and admits it was ‘physical’.
The iconic singer died in February 2012 at the age of 48 after accidentally drowning in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel, with heart disease and cocaine use also contributing to her untimely passing.
