Director of National Center for Infectious Disease Control says that the sources of the new thirteen cases are known.

Amiran Gamkrelidze shared with Report.ge that a part of the confirmed cases are the contacts of the patients, and another part comes from the quarantine zones.

“The source of the thirteen confirmed cases is known, and it has nothing to do with the recently emerged new cluster,” – said Gamkrelidze.

Reminder: Thirteen new cases of infection are registered in Georgia today.

Two more people have recovered.

In Georgia, the first coronavirus infection case was registered on February 26, 2020.

WHO recognized the pandemic on March 11, 2020.

The pneumonia outbreak started in December 2019 in China.

On January 21, China declared the virus was transmitting human-to-human and locked down two big cities.
