Egyptian Ezzeldin Bahader has become the oldest professional football player in the history of the game, having played a full match in the country’s third division championship at 74. Reuters writes about the case.
His achievement will be recorded in the Guinness Book of Records.
Earlier, the record belonged to an Israeli citizen, 73-year-old Isaak Hayik.
Ezzeldin made his debut for the 6th October team in March of the current year.
