African swine Black Plague is raging in South Korea, triggering increase of pig prices worldwide. According to the Seoul Ministry of Agriculture, the outbreak is likely to have spread from North Korea, where authorities have been trying to deal with the problem for the longest time. Several dead pigs were found on the border of the two countries. Animals are being processed on farms around the country.

Livestock accounts for 40 percent of South Korea's production.

The African swine Black Plague is dangerous to animals, but it is not a threat to humans.
