Drivers of the 6th substation of the "Ambulance" are holding a protest rally in the capital of Armenia, Yerevan. The protesters demand to increase the salary.

As one ambulance driver noted, calls have doubled in recent months, while salaries have remained the same. Ambulance drivers receive 11,700 drams (about $ 24) a day, and their monthly income is about 111,300 drams (about $ 210).

Currently, drivers do not respond to calls and are only prepared to serve extremely critically ill patients.

The ambulance staff demands a meeting with the representatives of the City Hall and the management.
