Armenian Health Minister Arsen Torosyan has resigned, the press service of the President of the country reports the information.

"The document has been received today; it has not been signed yet," the press service said.

Local media have been writing for several days that the Minister of Health will leave the post. According to journalists, he will be the Head of Government Office and will be replaced by Narek Zeynalyan, a member of parliament from the My Step party. According to the second version, Anahit Avanesyan, previously his deputy, is considered to replace Torosyan.

Arsen Torosyan was appointed as the Minister of Health of Armenia on May 12, 2018.
