"Armenians, who settled illegally in Agdam, set fire to shops and houses as they left," Azerbaijani media reports based on the information shared by Sputnik Armenia.
Armen, a village resident, said that he would burn down his grocery store and then the house.
"They gave a deadline for the handover until tomorrow. We cannot take all of our belongings. So now the best way is to burn them. I will not leave anything for the Turks," he said.
According to Armen, he settled in Boyahmedli village ten years ago.
Azerbaijani media writes that burning down houses in Kalbajar is damaging the environment.
