Baku frees three Armenian servicemen under humanism principles

Azerbaijan is extraditing three service members, disarmed in Karabakh, to Armenia as part of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's humanist policy, Report News Agency informs, referring to Caliber. az.

The Armenian servicemen are expected to be transported in the Baku-Yerevan military plane to Yerevan in the coming hours. Commander of the Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh Rustam Muradov arrived in Baku to take the servicemen to the destination.

The investigation uncovered that the mentioned servicemen are Armenians; however, their involvement in criminal activities resulting in casualties in Azerbaijan was never determined.

Despite the abovementioned, Armenia has so far refused to issue Karabakh minefield maps, and explosives planted in the area have resulted in the deaths of peaceful citizens and military men or damaged their health.

Additionally, Armenia has refused to issue information on more than 4,000 Azerbaijani nationals who vanished during The First Nagorno-Karabakh War. The majority of them were killed or buried in mass graves, of which one was discovered in the Bashlibeli village, the Kalbajar District.

Furthermore, Armenia has kept information on Azerbaijani citizens who were taken hostage during The First Nagorno-Karabakh War under wraps. However, the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross verified they are alive by sending to and receiving correspondences from them.
