Martin Cooper, a Motorola engineer, made his first phone call on April 3, 1973.
Using the Motorola DynaTAC 8000Х, he rang John Francis Mitchell at a rival company, Bell Laboratories, and when starting the conversation said he was calling with his mobile phone.
The device then weighed about 900 grams and became a real technological boom.
Thanks to the battery, the phone worked for 30 minutes, and it took about 10 hours to charge it.
