
A cave collapsed in Brazil while 26 rescuers were operating inside. Ten people were blocked, 9 of them died, and one person was injured, Sky News reports.
According to the Sao Paulo Fire Department, the survivor suffered multiple fractures and hypothermia. He was taken to hospital.
Six other people were slightly injured, according to police.
A statement from the Ministry of Public Safety said rescue operations began at dawn on Sunday, and about 75 rescuers were mobilized at the scene during the day.
