Chinese robotic spacecraft Tianwen 1 has sent two new images of Mars. The photos were posted on Twitter by the China National Space Administration (CGTN).

The footage shows that most of Mars is shaded, and the illuminated part is crescent-shaped.

The department explained that both images were taken when the device was at an altitude of 11,000 kilometers above the planet's surface. The robotic spacecraft sent the first image of the Red Planet in early February.

The device will run in orbit around Mars for almost three months, after which it will release a module that will land in the lowlands of Utopia and, after checking all the systems, will leave the SUV, which will start the expedition.
