As the WHO data have it, the number of coronavirus patients rose by 355,041 globally, with 10,422 having passed.

A total of 104,370,550 cases have been reported worldwide since the outbreak of the pandemic, and the death toll now stands at 2,271,180. 

The WHO labeled the novel virus a pandemic on 11 March 2020. Its outbreak started in China in December of 2019. On 21 January, China confirmed that the new coronavirus is contagious and declared quarantine in its two cities.

The first case was confirmed in Georgia on 26 February.
