Out of more than 446 million residents of the 27 EU countries, more than 75%, namely 350 million people, have already received the Covid Certificate.
"More than 350 million EU Covid Certificates have already been issued. An EU Covid Certificate is proof that a person has either been: vaccinated, tested negative, recovered from COVID-19," the EU said in a statement.
The EU also recognizes certificates issued by nine countries, including Turkey, Ukraine, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, northern Macedonia, San Marino, the Vatican, and Liechtenstein.
