Out of more than 446 million residents of the 27 EU countries, more than 75%, namely 350 million people, have already received the Covid Certificate.
"More than 350 million EU Covid Certificates have already been issued. An EU Covid Certificate is proof that a person has either been: vaccinated, tested negative, recovered from COVID-19," the EU said in a statement.
The EU also recognizes certificates issued by nine countries, including Turkey, Ukraine, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, northern Macedonia, San Marino, the Vatican, and Liechtenstein.
More than 350 million EU Covid Certificates have already been issued.
