Eight monks on Mount Athos got diagnosed with the coronavirus. Greek media reports about the new cases.
According to foreign media, one of the infected clergymen is in critical condition and is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Thessaloniki. Quarantine has been declared in the monastery. Pilgrimages are not allowed to Mount Athos.
The first case of coronavirus on Mount Athos got detected on March 29.
