Flags of the member states of the organization got lowered at the NATO headquarters in Brussels to pay tribute to the memory of the victims of the terrorist attack in Afghanistan.
"The flags of all 30 NATO countries are lowered at the headquarters of the Alliance in connection with the horrific terrorist attack at Kabul Airport. We mourn all the victims. We honor the memory of American soldiers who gave their lives to transport others safely. We will not forget them," reads the statement issued by NATO.
