The Azerbaijani army has seized new strongholds and liberated the territory from the Armenian armed forces, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reports.
"As a result of hostilities, the enemy's manpower, military equipment, and other weapons have been destroyed.
The total loss of the enemy from September 27 to October 5 at 5:30 a.m. was:
- Up to 250 tanks and other armored vehicles;
- Up to 270 artillery pieces, multiple-launch missile systems, and mortars;
- Up to 60 air defense systems;
- 11 command-control points and command-observation points;
- 8 ammunition depots;
- Up to 150 cars;
- 1 S-300 anti-aircraft missile system," the agency said in a statement.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the Armenian armed forces fires on the villages of Tartar, Barda, Agdam, Agjabedi, Fizuli, and Jabrayil regions.
"The Azerbaijani army is taking adequate measures," the ministry said.
