"The attempt of the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia to justify the illegal visits of Armenian officials to the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan and the assertion that this does not contradict the obligations of the tripartite statement of November 10 show that officials in Armenia just like 30 years ago, are in fantasies and do not draw conclusions from the new reality created in the region," said Leyla Abdullayeva, the head of the press service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
"This means that the Armenian leadership is not focusing on future coexistence in peace and the security of the people of Karabakh, but on narrow political interests. The consequences of this policy for Armenia are clear," said a spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
