According to NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, the North Atlantic Alliance needed to adjust to a certain reality due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, it was able to function in given conditions and ensure that the health crisis did not turn into a security crisis.
"We made some adjustments in our actions, but the main message is that we could ensure security and operational presence on the ground throughout the pandemic," Stoltenberg said.
