In light of the low morbidity data throughout the country, it is no longer mandatory to wear a mask in open areas in Israel.
As the Israeli Health Ministry reports, the obligation is lifted starting April 18.
‘’It means you can stay in open areas without a mask,” the statement released by the ministry reads.
Israel has vaccinated about 80% of its population.
