There are 26 new cases of the new coronavirus detected in the last 24 hours in Armenia. In total, the number of people infected with COVID-19 in the country reached 1,039. The hospitals continue to treat 814 patients.
211 patients recovered since the outbreak of the virus in the country, while 141 people died.
The state of emergency in the country is effective until April 14.
Arsen Torosyan, the Minister of Health, noted that the spread of coronavirus in the country is already out of control.
The government is likely to prolong the state of emergency.
