Armenia's information about allegedly shooting down of 3 tanks, two helicopters, and three crewless aerial vehicles (UAV) of the Azerbaijan Army is false and disinformation, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reports.
"Our units have a complete advantage over the enemy in the front,'' the statement reads.
"The Azerbaijan Army does not target the civilian population, civilian facilities, and civilian infrastructure. Unlike the occupying country Armenia, during military operations, Azerbaijan complies with international humanitarian law regulation, including the Geneva Conventions,'' the Defense Ministry reports.
Following the authority, the Armenian army 'deliberately places' its firing points inside and near human settlements.
''The Azerbaijan Army calls for the civilian population in the occupied territories to stay away from military facilities,'' the ministry reports.
