Excavations in the Jordanian capital have uncovered a Roman archeological site containing baths and a crematorium. The Independent spreads the information about the finding.

Archaeologists say the Roman baths found in front of the Roman amphitheater date back to the second century.

According to historians, these places were completely flooded by the Aman River between 1964 and 1971, so it is gratifying that the trace of this archeological site survived.
