Russia has begun vaccination against coronavirus, Russian media outlets report.

In Moscow, based on adult polyclinics, offices for vaccination against coronavirus have been launched. There are 70 of them in total. Offices are open from 08:00 to 20:00 local time.

First, people from the high-risk group will get vaccinated - employees of the education, health care, city social services.

As the vaccine becomes available, the list of categories for vaccination registration will expand, and, ultimately, the vaccine will become open to all residents of Moscow.

Residents of the capital will be able to get vaccinated if they are between 18 and 60 years old, do not have chronic diseases, have not participated in clinical trials of a coronavirus vaccine, and have not been vaccinated in the last 30 days, have not had ARVI.

Russia will use the locally-made vaccine Sputnik V.

Over two million doses of the vaccine have already been produced.

Local media say by the end of next week, vaccination will begin in all Russian regions.
