The Operation Center at the Government of Azerbaijan lifts a part of restrictions with the improved epidemiological situation effective September 8, 2020, 00:00.
According to the Center’s information, the infection spread is limited, and the number of infection cases has decreased due to the introduced quarantine regime and preventive measures.
Based on the decision made by the Cabinet of Ministers, services of closed-type food objects will be permitted. Baku, Sumgait, and Absheron lockdowns are lifted.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases is 37,031. The number of recovered patients has reached 34,419; five hundred and forty-three patients have died.
