After the third dose of the Sinovac vaccine, there is a 10-20 time increase in the number of antibodies in the body. The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Istanbul University, Professor Tufan Tükek, announced the information.
"The results of the second phase of the study of the effect of the third dose of Sinovac have been published. The results are quite high; 10-20 times an increase in antibodies is observed ten days after vaccination," the professor said.
On July 1, the Turkish Ministry of Health decided to use a third dose of the vaccine for citizens.
