"Turkey considers Armenia's actions in Syunik Province a "terrorist attack" and will not leave Azerbaijan in this situation," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu stated at a press conference.
"We will not leave brotherly Azerbaijan. Let us reconsider the steps taken by Azerbaijan, which has regained its lands. Very important projects have been implemented for stability in the region; they offered a comprehensive peace agreement. On the other hand, Armenia penetrated the Azerbaijani lands as soon as the ceasefire ceased and attacked the Azerbaijani soldiers. This is a terrorist attack," he said.
Çavuşoğlu also expressed the view that Yerevan "should see that these provocations are useless."
"It will never bring results," the minister added.
