"Turkey is the country, which stabilizes the situation in the region. Turkey's policy, which aims at ensuring peace in the region and the entire planet, is already producing results in the Middle East and the Caucasus region," Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said this in his statement at the meeting with Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
"Today's status quo, after Armenia's next attack on us, once again testifies to the fact that Turkey is a powerful country in the region and the world. This fact gives us strength and inspires us. Today, our people and the entire world can see what the unity of Turkey and Azerbaijan means," Aliyev said, and added that this unity must be an example for the entire world.
