Two soldiers got injured by lightning at the Lafayette Park near the White House, Washington. They were taken to the hospital, and their lives are not in danger.
Protests continue in Washington, D.C., and other U.S. cities over the deaths of George Floyd.
A state of emergency got lifted in Washington at night. Demonstrators continued to protest in the park. Heavy rain made some of them leave the territory.

At midnight, a thunderstorm struck the park, injuring soldiers.
