The UN Secretary-General calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to immediately cease hostilities on the border between the two countries.
Stephane Dujarric, the Spokesperson for the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, made the statement about the issue.
Antonio Guterres called on the parties to refrain from the ceasefire and provocative rhetoric.
"The Secretary-General calls on the parties to immediately cease hostilities and urges all parties involved to take immediate steps to de-escalate the situation," the statement said.
