The United States calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to cease hostilities immediately. Morgan Ortagus, the spokesperson for the United States Department of State, made the statement regarding the issue.
"The United States condemns the violence on the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We urge the parties to cease the use of force immediately. To avoid further escalation, use direct communication channels and adhere to the ceasefire," reads the statement.
