Venice carnival 2021 will be held online to avoid the further dissemination of COVID-19.
The carnival will begin on January 30 and continue until February 16.
The carnival will be held as multimedia events on social media, through ‘virtual rooms.’
The 2020 Venice carnival ended two days earlier than planned, as the novel coronavirus outbreak hit Italy.
