"By the end of 2021, 30% of the population of each country should be vaccinated," Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, stated.
He said the lack of vaccination poses a threat to all countries.
"I urge all countries to support the global vaccination effort and vaccinate at least 10 percent of the population by September and at least 30 percent by the end of the year. Priority should be given to doctors and members of the risk groups," he said.
