The World Health Organization has warned that the coronavirus pandemic is entering a “new and dangerous” phase with the virus outbreak accelerating around the world.
The organization says that the coronavirus spread has speeded up. According to the Director-General, Friday reports showed 150,000 new cases, the highest rate of contamination until now.
Half of the cases are registered in the American Continent. The number of infected people in Brazil is over a million now. A significant part of new cases is registered in Middle Asia.
“The World has entered a new dangerous phase now,” – says Tedros Adanom.
