The fourth member, Bela Tsipuria, also left the composition of the literary competition.
Currently, only the 5th member appointed by the Ministry of Culture remains on the jury of the "Litera" award.
The authors, designers, and publishers address an open letter to the Minister of Culture, Tea Tsulukiani. They demand that the jury appointed by the Ministry be immediately removed from the Litera competition and that the degree of the jury's freedom, impartiality, and professionalism be no longer in question.
Three other members of the jury left before the competition, writer Rezo Tabukashvili, translator Oktay Kazumov and critic and writer Lela Kodalashvili.
Prior to that, part of the contestants was excluded from the competition "Litera" due to the protest against Tea Tsulukiani.
