The first edition of J.K. Rowling's novel "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" sold for a record $ 471,000 at a Texas heritage auction, Reuters writes.
According to the publication, the starting price of the lot was $ 75,000.
"Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" became the most expensive fiction book published in the 20th century.
As it turned out, the book is one of 500 copies published in 1997.
