George R. R. Martin, the author of the book series "A Song of Ice and Fire," based on which the series "The Game of Thrones" was filmed, has signed another 5-year contract with HBO, the Hollywood Reporter writes.
According to the agency, the contract was signed for the eight-figure amount, but the exact number paid to the writer is unknown.
While "The Game of Thrones" ended in 2019, HBO's owner has already announced the prequel series "The House of the Dragon."
