The winners of the Joint Presidential Exchange Programme by Tbilisi _ World Book Capital and the Writers' House of Georgia have been named: winning authors Tako Poladashvili and Tea Topuria will be sent to Spain's La Coruna city and Nana Abuladze to Lviv, Ukraine.
The Writers' House, on its part, is set to host Spanish and Ukrainian authors in Tbilisi.
Authors were allowed to submit applications for participation in the exchange program in late July. The main selection criteria were as follows: experience in the writing field, text quality, and a motivation letter.
Georgian authors Tako Poladashvili and Tea Topuria will work within the program in Spain for two weeks.
The project partners are the Lviv City Council and ''Lviv _ a UNESCO City of Literature."
Tbilisi _ World Book Capital is the UNESCO project carried out with the financial support of the Tbilisi City Hall.
