By decision of the High Council of Justice, 15 judges assigned for three years were appointed to life tenure.

According to the Supreme Council, the results of the open voting are as follows: 1. Iveri Abashidze - 14 votes, 2. Ioseb Abramidze - 15 votes, 3. Darina Abuladze - 14 votes, 4. Tatia Gogolauri - 14 votes, 5. Tina Vashakmadze - 15 votes, 6 Nino Tarashvili - 15 votes, 7. Iza Kelenjeridze - 15 votes, 8. Maia Kvirikashvili - 15 votes, 9. Goga Kupreishvili - 15 votes, 10. Sophio Lezhava - 15 votes, 11. Lela Mildenberger - 15 votes, 12. Irma Togonidze - 14 votes, 13. Natia Togonidze -15 votes, 14. Nino Chakhnashvili - 14 votes, 15. Khatuna Jinoria - 15 votes.

According to the High Council of Justice, the judges were appointed for a three-year term in January 2018.

"All fifteen judges appointed for three years exceeded the threshold of faith and competence during the evaluation. As a result of the voting, they received the required number of votes; therefore, they were appointed. I congratulate the judges and wish them successful work," said Nikoloz Marsagishvili, Secretary of the High Council of Justice.
